Fish Kill Overlook Falls

Fish Kill Overlook Falls

These falls are found in the city of Beacon, NY, just as the Fish Kill is about to flow under E. Main St. The name "Fish Kill" has, surprisingly to some, no connotation of killing fish. There were a lot of Dutch folk around here in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, and the Dutch word "kill" means a body of water, a creek for example. So please don't go spamming me about cruelty to marine life.
