Split Rock

Split Rock

Known variously as "Split Rock," "Coxing Kill Falls," or other permutations, this unusual rock formation creates a waterfall and a small gorge, at the end of which is a popular swimming hole. This location is within the Mohonk Preserve, and visitors who are not members should pay the day visitor fee. A few hundred feet downstream is a "clothing optional" bathing area.
