Platte Clove

Platte Clove

Platte Clove is one of the sites on the Hudson River School Art Trail, known especially for paintings by Thomas Cole and Asher B. Durand. When we visited there this fall, the foliage was about over, so I resorted to image editing software to restore some of the color. I hope you enjoy this work in progress. For more information, check out the Web site referred to in the inset rubbing medallion.
